CVA PIERCING POLICY

JEWELLERY IS NOT ALLOWED FOR TRAINING AT CVA

EAR PIERCING

• All earrings must be removed for training

• When ears are freshly pierced, ONE pair of stud earrings may be taped up for the 6 week healing period. Once that period has ended the earrings must be removed for all activities. 

BELLY PIERCING

Either:

1. The piercing is removed for all stunting/conditioning activity at cheer

Or:

1. Athletes may keep their piercing in but they must

   1. wear a gymnastic leotard of their choice, which is

      1. tightly fit to the body and

      2. Is a one piece that fastens / goes under the body

   2. Have a waiver signed by the parents stating that:

      1. Cheer Valley Allstars (CVA) is not liable for any injury resulting from an athlete wearing a belly piercing at cheer. 

      2. Athletes are not covered under the insurance policy for any injury relating to their belly piercing and if injuring another athlete must take full responsibility for this.

      3. Every competition company has a policy where NO piercings are allowed to be worn, and athletes will need to removed it in order to compete

ALL OTHER PIERCINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED OR ACCOMMODATED AND MUST BE REMOVED.
