Our programme and activities are designed to help our cheerleaders reach their goals and fulfill their highest potential in cheer and life. About Us
An established cheerleading club in the Blackburn with Darwen area of Lancashire, UK
Sarah Holden started the club in 2005 after being the councils cheerleading coach and running her own team at Blackburn Ice Arena. We moved to Hollins Grove Street Mills for a number of years and since have moved to Darwen Vale High School which creates a much more suitable training area for our expanding team.
Now our Coaching team has many qualified coaches, with assistants and other volunteers being trained up every year.
We have recreational and competitive cheer teams from age 3+ both boys and girls enjoy our classes and many members have stayed with us for over 10 years.

Meet Your Staff
Coaches:
Head Coach Sarah: started the team over 20 years ago, Levels 1-6 Coach, DBS & First aid qualified. Coached National Winning Teams in Co-Ed Cheer & Street Cheer .
Coach Ellie: has been Cheering with us since she was 5 years old, winning many competitions in cheer, group stunt & pom dance. Now a fully qualified Coach, DBS cleared and also cheering on her university team

Coach Tia: has been Cheering with us since she was 5 years old, winning many competitions in cheer, group stunt, solos & pom dance. Now a fully qualified Coach, DBS cleared & we are proud to say also has graduated Uni with BCS Hons in Sports Science with Human Physiology .Coach Gemma: has been with the team nearly a year now. Spending many years cheering for her high school team, now a fully qualified Coach & DBS Cleared. .Coach Grace: has been Cheering with us since a young age after starting off in a gymnastics background she has won many competitions in cheer and group stunts. Now a fully qualified Coach. .Staff: Alison is our secretary & chairperson, she is the heart & soul of the team doing many different tasks every week including money and registers on Wednesdays. After starting out as a Cheer Mum she has become our chief organiser at CVA and we are very lucky to have her. .Assistant Coach Emily: Emily has been cheering with us for many years and also has a background in dance. She’s looking to become a Coach and is fantastic with the children.Assistant Coach Darla: Darla has been with us for over a year now & is fabulous with the Sparkles team she has helped Coach this season. We can’t wait for her to become qualified.
New Starter Monday Class is a Success
Our New Starter Class at Darwen Vale High School on Mondays 5.30-6.30pm started last night with a fabulous number of 10 turning up. Lots of fun was had by all and new skills learnt!
